I am honoured to be recognized with the Outstanding Reviewer Award for 2022 from the journal Energy Research & Social Sciences. This highly-ranked, peer-review, international journal provides an important and relevant forum for research examining the link between energy systems and society. Transitioning to a smart and sustainable energy future involves not only technical and engineering advancements, but also policies, social structures, and institutional changes.

In 2022, my research article with co-author Tony Savarimuthu titled “From Tweets to insights: A social media analysis of the emotion discourse of sustainable energy in the United States” was published in Energy Research & Social Science.

Energy Research & Social Sciences provides an essential interdisciplinary platform for knowledge creation and sharing on the important topic of energy systems. It also seeks to advance research related to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Clean Energy) and Goal 13 (Climate Change). It is my pleasure and priviledge to be able to contribute to scholarship in this area and to the journal.
