From February 21 to 23, 2024, I was privileged to participate in a think tank on “Beyond Sustainability.” The event was organized and hosted by Dr. Liette Visseur, UNESCO Chair on Community Sustainability: From Local to Global, at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. My colleagues in the think tank and I are working on summarizing our thoughts on this very important subject, which we hope to publish in the near future.

As part of this think tank, I also had the honour to participate in a public panel where we reflected on the radical changes that are needed if we, as humans, want to address the climate crisis facing the planet and life on earth. My thanks and appreciation to all those involved in the organization of the event and everyone who participated and shared their questions and observations.
